What kind of professional Russian, Ukrainian and Romanian translator am I?
I was born in Ukraine, where Russian is as widely spoken as Ukrainian, but I belong to the Romanian minority in this country, which is also my native language. Therefore, your translation with Russian, Ukrainian and Romanian localisation will correspond to the local mentality of the Russian and Romanian markets. In addition, I know most of the professional Russian translators, with whom I am constantly collaborating.
SEO and linkbuilding (crowdmarketing) in Russian, Ukrainian and Romanian
Natural Positioning in Google in Russian and Romanian with the help of copywriting and rewriting, and with the optimization of keywords in Russian and Romanian: from $5 per 1000 symbols. As you probably already know, Google Panda loves when texts are interesting and performs the positioning according to this factor. Your Russian texts will be written by an expert copywriter – readability is more than important and you know it!
Advertising and link building
Contextual advertising on Google (Google Adwords or now Ads) using the keywords in Russian and Romanian: Price to be agreed. Linkbuilding, which is the accumulation of links for the natural positioning of the website in Google, publishing links with cultural adaptation and written with great naturalness: 4-5 € per link.
Prices
The prices of translation services are shown in Euros for convenience, as I have clients from different Spanish-speaking countries and also so as not to overload the page with so many currencies. Thank you for your understanding!
How to get a quote
To find out the cost of your order, contact me through any channel on the website, or email me your documents for a quote. I usually reply within 10–15 minutes of receiving your request.
- Standard translation: from €0.02 per word
- Professional translation of financial or legal documents: from €0.03 per word
- Layout (DTP) matching the original, for PDF and many other file types: free of charge
- Urgent translation of financial or legal documents: a moderate surcharge, or none at all
- Additional services (extra proofreading by a native translator, research, etc.): usually half the translation price
Urgent translation means a translation into or from Russian or Romanian delivered faster than usual. For example, financial reports or legal documents delivered on the day of the order count as urgent. To be honest, though, we often make an exception for our clients 🙂
How did the professional translation project for Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and Romanian come about?
I think I know why you are here, and read this blog. Maybe you have a good business or just a business project. But it seems that this fact is not fulfilling you, and you don’t feel the fullness of life, but on the contrary it seems to be tying you to a fixed place. But you have something in common with most of the readers of this blog: one day you crossed a certain limit.
You are the one who has an Internet business and who wants to work all over the world, at your own will… without restrictions that limit other people.
My story as a translator
Something like that happened to me, almost 10 years ago. The first time I realised that work on the Internet is possible and that professional translation from Spanish, Romanian, Ukrainian or Russian and localisation of texts in several languages is possible online, was when I read the story of a former student. He was a translator, and all his work was on the Internet, although he had already lived in China for six months after having spent six months in Argentina.
From idea to reality
This idea fascinated me and would not leave me alone for years to come. Quite the contrary: it began to manifest itself in me vigorously when I started to carry out some translation assignments from Spanish into Russian, and when I realised that the client wanted a text in another language on Friday at twelve o’clock in his e-mail, and did not care when and where I would do this, if I respected the deadlines.
When I quit my job in 2015, I chose the path of freedom. At that moment I asked myself a simple question: why not find clients who need professional Russian to Spanish translation online and work from anywhere with my laptop?
Soon after, I added English to Spanish translation, as well as English to Russian and Romanian translation. First, I spent a year at home in Ukraine to refresh my first two native languages. Then I spent another year in Spain improving my language combinations. Meanwhile, I entered the world of online freelance translators, offering professional translation from Russian to Spanish, from Spanish to Russian and from English to Spanish.
Truth be told, this path is not easy. There are always pitfalls and risks, for example an incorrect translation, which is unforgivable for a professional. However, these situations can be avoided. In the end, I succeeded thanks to practice and to some wonderful colleagues. That is why I also decided to help others with my experience.
How I work today
Today I work online as a freelance translator. My clients come from four continents and need professional translations from Spanish and Russian or from Spanish into Romanian. As a result, I set my own schedule and earn more than a typical translator in Ukraine.
Of course, being a native speaker of several languages helps a lot. It is easy to see why: clients want an experienced native translator for Spanish, Russian, Romanian or English, because they fear unprofessional translations.
I also translate from English into Spanish and from English into Romanian. In fact, I learned English from English people on the Costa del Sol in Spain. I lived there for more than 11 years, with stays in Madrid and other Spanish cities. It was there that I became a native Spanish speaker, bothering local booksellers and librarians with my questions about books 🙂
